Profile of Lead Tutor.

Scott is a self - motivated and patient first aid instructor who has the ability to promote learning by inspiring students/candidates of all academic abilities using varying methods of instruction in conjunction with interesting and varied teaching aids.

Scott possesses over three years experience teaching first aid within military training establishments and has now converted all knowledge to the civilian sector.

History of Lead Tutor.

Having spent many years within the armed forces and undertaking in various operational tours Scott decided to transfer his knowledge and wealth of experience into recruit training.

He qualified as a weapons instructor at the beginning of 2002 and shortly after completed his defence first aid instructor’s course. Since attending and passing these courses Scott went on to serve for 2.5 years teaching weapons and first-aid on a full- time basis to classes in excess of 25 recruits.

Due to an injury that occurred on duty Scott has had to leave the military but has requalified as a civilian first-aid instructor and is looking to use his experience and qualifications to benefit a wide range of trainees.

Qualifications Held.

First Aid in the Workplace Instructor empowered to deliver HSE approved courses.
Military First Aid instructor.
City and Guilds level 3 in teaching.
Part NVQ level 3 in teaching and development.
